ANALISIS PSIKOLOGI SISWA TERHADAP IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM SKS DI MTS NEGERI 2 JEMBER

The Semester Credit System, hereinafter referred to as SKS, is a form of education in which students agree on the amount of study load to be followed and/or learning strategies each semester in educational units according to their talents, interests, and learning abilities/speed. SKS is organized through varied learning organization and flexible study time management. The type of research used is qualitative with a descriptive approach with case studies. Collecting research data using interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The research data is in the form of a description of the results of interviews, observations, and results of the study of documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the findings is done by extending observations, persistence, and triangulation. From this study it is known that at first the psychological state of the students was heavy and there was a feeling of fear. However, the feeling of fear disappeared after following the actual program. Students of MTs Negeri 2 Jember are psychologically not burdened by participating in learning activities, there are even students who still take private lessons, there are even students who are able to achieve academic and non-academic achievements. Students who are selected to take part in the accelerated class have a good orderly and disciplined attitude and even the level of order and discipline exceeds that of other class students. In terms of participation in madrasah activities, students who were selected to take part in the acceleration involved themselves actively in various madrasah activities.
