PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN KOMIK MATERI CIRI-CIRI MAKHLUK HIDUP TERINTEGRASI AL-QUR’AN

Abstract

The development of the digitalization era greatly affects the learning patterns and character of students in this era. Therefore the need for learning media that is interesting and can affect positive character values. When learning still displays monotonous teaching media, for example in the form of powerpoint by displaying so much text, then students will have difficulty in following the learning material of the characteristics of living things. Therefore, an interesting and effective learning media innovation is needed at that age, and one of these media is comics.  The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics, student responses, feasibility and effectiveness of the developed media. To achieve the desired learning objectives and as an effort to develop teaching media, this research uses research and development methods. The characteristic components of the comic media developed on the material of the characteristics of living things include integrated material with the Qur'an, Islamic nuances and presents character values. The assessment of media experts and material experts states that comic media is declared suitable for use and student responses are also very good because they find this media interesting and easy to understand.  Therefore, the importance of integrated learning which is an approach in learning that deliberately links several aspects both intra-subject and inter-subject. With the integration, students will gain knowledge and skills as a whole so that learning becomes meaningful to students.
