PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE SCRIPT UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR PPKn PADA SISWA KELAS 8F MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH NEGERI 2 JEMBER

The background of this research is the fact that in class MTs Negeri 2 Jember students tend to be passive and difficult to invite to be more active, creative and confident. For example, students don't dare to ask questions if they don't understand and during class discussions many are silent and don't express their opinions, so learning in class is less effective and conducive. If the teacher explains continuously, many students feel bored and then talk to their desk mates and play alone. This makes student learning outcomes low because as many as 50% of students have not met the KKM score of 75. After the teacher's reflection in the learning process and discussion with colleagues, the teacher made improvements to learning by using the Cooperative Script learning model. The research subjects were 8F class students of MTs Negeri 2 Jember, totaling 32 students. Data collection methods used in this classroom action research include tests and observations. The instruments used in this study were tests and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques using quantitative and qualitative analysis. Based on the results of the study that the cooperative script learning model to increase the activity and learning outcomes of Civics in class 8F students at MTs Negeri 2 Jember has been successful. This can be proven by the increasing activity of students from cycle I to cycle II, that is, from 80% increasing to 90% and the acquisition of test scores that have fulfilled the KKM, namely 70 in each cycle which increases, namely cycle I by 78%; cycle II of 88%.
